Liquid Tension Experiment

I'm listening to Liquid Tension Experiment Vol. 2, 74 minutes of saturated prog metal instrumentals by the side project band of Dream Theater's lead guitarist, drummer and keyboardist. It's awesome stuff. The kind I'd love to have a go at creating, if I had (a few!) years' more keyboard experience, and knew guitarists and a drummer who were similarly enthusiastic for writing desperately obscure self-indulgence that most people wouldn't listen to if you paid them :-)

Josh, I don't know if you're still reading this on a regular basis, but there are a couple of tracks off LTE2 that I really need to send you.

Speaking of fine music, a report on last night's Radiohead experience will follow tonight, or later.

Hi Paul,
Just been reading all of your university related blog posts, sounds like you’re rushed off your feet with coursework and revision most of the time ;-) Just out of interest, do you manage to eat breakfast before you leave your room for your morning lectures? I know how delicate the decision between food and sleep can be first thing in the morning ;-) Anyway, I’ve been trying these new Nutri-Grain bars from Kellogg’s lately, and they’re great; tasty, nutritious, and available in a variety of flavours! You can eat them on the way to your lectures without missing out on valuable sleep, so check ‘em out!

hmmm...i am mostly jealous about you seeing radiohead, but much respect goes out for the liquid tension experiment listen-o-rama!
