Download D3DX DLLs (d3dx9_xx.dll, d3dx10_xx.dll)


Trying to run a recent DirectX application and getting errors about missing DLLs?
Microsoft have made some changes to their practices regarding updates to D3DX (an optional component of DirectX), and these changes have led to end users experiencing missing DLL problems. (I've written at greater length about this phenomenon, but in short: Developers are supposed to install the DLLs as part of the DirectX setup part of their installation. Either they're not, or users are cancelling the DirectX part because they think "I already have DirectX 9!" Anyway...) Because Google seems to like my site, I'm hosting the required files here in that hope that people searching for them will find this page easily.
Please note: The XInput DLLs (xinput1_1.dll, xinput1_2.dll, xinput1_3.dll, and xinput9_1_0.dll) have moved to their own page - the unimaginatively named XInput DLL page.

Please download only the file that the application asks for, to save my bandwidth! Check the error message carefully, because the filenames are quite similar.
All the DLLs are compressed into ZIP archives to save bandwidth. To install a DLL, extract it from its archive, and place it in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder (or equivalent). If your PC doesn't know what to do with ZIP files, install the free archiving tool 7-zip.
These files are hosted here without permission from Microsoft, and will be removed if anyone important complains.

Comment réinstaller l'application HKNTDLL.dll, à chaque démarrage de cesion, un message d'erreur s'affiche à l'écran : mHotkey n'a pas pu démarrer car HKNTDLL.dll est introuvable. La réinstallation de cette application peut corriger ce problème.
Je vous serais vraiment reconnaissante si vous pouviez m'aider car lorsque maintenant j'ouvre des sites internet, on me demande toujours d'activer javascript, ce que j'ai déjà fait, mans sans succès.
Merci (réponse en français, svp, je ne connais pas l'Anglais.

Can I just say you are a god send thankyou so much for putting up this site all I did was put the file name that was missing and your site was there at the top. Normally it can take scrolling through pages until you finally find one that is what you need yours was so easy and stressfree so thanks

I have copy all these Files to my systempath BUT the Game will not start. WHY ? No Messages Popup when i klick the exe file.

I did downloaded d3dx9_30.zip - d3dx9_30.dll, zipped. and put on the system 32. Nothing happened. I still can not play PES 2008. What i shoud do next? Thanks

hi there. im in desperate need of D3DX9_33.DLL but i am having no luck downloading it. i go to save it to my computer, then open it, and it opens up in windows media player!?! i have even installed 7-zip as u said but still getting no where. could u please get back to me as soon as possible. many thanks
